an experiment: i'll be designing entirely in public with and for a few friendly projects, starting with @gif (by @0xconca.eth) and /atlas (by @jrf); as you know, the /red channel only curates my own casts to the feed, but starting today theirs will be curated too Below a first task / proposal for the @gif composer action layout (with more detail and rationale in the following cast) there are several moving parts here: - advertising /hyperclient, a side-project by me and @0xconca.eth - experimenting with design in public - advertising /red, why not again, only me and selected users will be curated to the main feed to keep this tidy, but everyone can reply and one of the ideas is for this to become conversational and getting more input in the design process let's go

notes - no border because no need (improved contrast given by complementary colors, much more than orange / pink) - smaller user pfp to save space - moved "by 0xconca" to below the container, stands out more - actually show days left on the sub - actually say "hypersub" instead of "premium", people know what that is need to prototype what it looks like with results showing, but i would not show the [ ADD GIF ] button until either 1) a search has been made 2) a recent gif has been selected so the button appearing suddenly will be more visible PS It's a bit of a no-no to have a message ("select gif to cast it") transform into a CTA button ("attach gif to cast")

Loved this initiative the second i heard it!! Interestingly enough, the most exciting one for me is @atlas 🤣 I think redesigning it could really unlock its potential
