yes! we're in bay area and our son went to nueva school summer 2021

despite remote work though, school remains the greatest geographic shackle most families have

we do school/work from anywhere, e.g. we spent 6 weeks in CO and UT last winter skiing b/c we wanted that experience

there's no easy product that solves everything today. still requires stitching something together and lots of work

as more people do this, my hope is we'll reach critical mass and will get much easier

teachers today still work like artisans, where they literally do everything (from scratch) and are stretched very thin

they could be unbundled into superstar teachers (who stream), local coaches for discussion, and graders.

then re-bundle as decentralized primary education?

I’m in college oos now but I went to public school until high school in the bay so this conversation is interesting haha - one thing my parents did that I hated but am now grateful for was send me to after school chinese school, public school language classes didn’t work as well
