We have pretty harsh winters where I live. How do you suppose one might live in harmony with that season? A lot of our fruit/veggies is imported.

Spiritually — respect for deep yin phases of life. How can we “hibernate” to account for the environmental requirements? Physically — I think we set up shop in areas of the planet that are not conducive to so much life. If you’re intent on staying there, may be figuring out how the indigenous lived there and mirroring some behaviors There’s also just accepting the societal imbalances gracefully until you can move somewhere that feels more balanced to you

This is really profound. Thank you, Android. I think looking at how indigenous people live is a really good idea. I think about it often, but sometimes it doesn't adhere to cultural stuff (eating certain types of meats and stuff like that -- but there is so much that we can take away). But, I guess the simplest solution would be to go somewhere that does feel balanced, even if you weren't born/raised there.
