The mind acting within the human (the best vessel to promulgate thought) for centuries has increasingly converted the planet’s life energy into humans, at the expense of wild animals, old growth forests and fisheries

But thought still doesn’t rest!

This is not meant to be anti-human

Humans are an essential and inextricable part of life and our contribution to the life tapestry is a necessary one

But rather, maybe it’s time to question the endless conversion of life into thought — can we find purpose outside of that very narrow form of “growth”?

Have not heard of that before -- one interesting thought that comes up is wondering if LLMs/AI are the most efficient way to convert energy/matter into thought (by bypassing the life process, or harnessing the existing forms). Unclear to me if this is net good or bad
