Just had an idea that might work in crypto.. A LETS (local exchange trading system) on chain. I envision it as almost a dau but with a goal of allowing members to borrow/repay money based on their established reputation in that LETS. Or by putting up product/services as collateral. I’m not sure how it would work tbh, but I think it could be a powerful tool for small local communities to self organize and help each other in a more impactful way. It would certainly embody the ideals of crypto.
