100 f is fever. I can understand. But what exactly happen to your body at 0 f? Doesn’t make much sense to me. If 0 F was humans death I would have loved it….

For distances and weight, I totally agree. Imperial is dumb. 

But Fahrenheit > Celsius for the human experience. It was literally invented based on human body temp.

How is temperature better in Fahrenheit? Beside 100 signaling human body fever, what happens at 0 F? It doesn’t even map on the Kelvin scale. 

2. It’s not a matter of being told… it’s a scientific standard. And make much more sense. Remember I’m Italian and the “imperial” word have a specific meaning to 

1. Distance is better in metric but temperature is better in imperial.

2. Americans don't like being told what to do more than most cultures.

Because it is elected within Catholics… 😜 the imperial system was not invented in US. Even the inventories gave up and are now using the metric (more logical) system. My question is honest. I’m really interested to understand what is the friction (beside adaptation) to migrate to the metric one.

Fun fact, America is secretly on a metric system but not when it comes to day-to-day life of people 🤷‍♂️
