And since nobody’s checking FC on weekend nights - my mystery illness has been uncovered Not Lyme and not smth autoimmune like I thought (or rather was bamboozled by House MD) - it’s severe vitamin D deficiency 🫠 Apparently you can get it even in California if you don’t hike, surf, run or do outdoor sports

My mom says she has this! After she took some prescribed vit D, she started taking D3+K2 in liquid form instead of pill form and it’s helped a lot! Hope you start feeling better! 💜

I know depression happens with that, We got some of that when we moved to Alaska for a few years. Glad it's a simple vitamin d deficiency (as opposed to what you were prepared for)

Glad you figured it out! No matter where we are, if it's chilly and we're covered up then it's impossible to get enough vitamin D just from hands and face. Skin surface area really matters, need like 30 minutes of most of our body to get consistent load. Plus, not everyone produces the same amount even with sun exposure, and it varies as we age.
