Depends on the app. For example, ChatGPT frontend is not too complex

IMO the backend includes everything required to run the app, which is much more than just a simple API

I didn’t mean infra - I meant more the data (in this case LLM) Another example would be Google. The search input and rendering results is simple, but indexing the entire internet and searching on the backend is really complicated

Yeah this is true at Pinata too. I’m generalizing, probably too much. But for apps that have a server with API routes and a frontend and not much else, the frontend is harder.
