Here’s my hot take for today. Frontend is harder and more time consuming than backend.

Depends on the app. For example, ChatGPT frontend is not too complex

I’d argue that the frontend for ChatGPT is more complex than the backend API

IMO the backend includes everything required to run the app, which is much more than just a simple API

I didn’t mean infra - I meant more the data (in this case LLM)

Another example would be Google. The search input and rendering results is simple, but indexing the entire internet and searching on the backend is really complicated

Fair enough! I separate infra and backend in my mind.
