This past Saturday, I ran my first 50k ultramarathon in Big Bear, CA.   

Finished in 6:50:36, excited for the next challenge.

Yes that was my first time over 42k… a lot of volume building up before the race. Time to get back to work the next 50k is in April.

Congrats! Is this your first time going over 42k? How the hell did you manage to do it?

No requirements or invite, you just pay the entry fees. I’ve been using this same watch for the past couple years I need to upgrade soon.

Are these runs invitational or open? If open, what’s the requirements?

It took a good little spill around the 15k mark, snagged my toe on a rock and Supermaned onto the trail.
