Why is Jon Stewart glorifying tedious work? Most people aren't lucky enough to love their jobs. There is little dignity in many jobs, including many white-collar jobs. Why is Jon Stewart lamenting the loss of these awful jobs?

Big agree. As a customer service rep, I would be more than happy to hand my job off to an ai if it was advanced enough for the task.

Especially if your job became a supervisory one in which you helped any company who previously couldn’t even afford to do big-scale customer service operations add the service to their stores, professional firms, and small businesses
