feel like i'm seeing too many 'being a parent is the best thing ever' casts and not enough 'lord give me the strength' casts

Being a parent requires a lot of coping 😂

Also a pet theory that smaller family sizes and less extended family, villages, etc mean people are genuinely surprised by how fulfilling it can be.

iirc, back in the day, this channel had a lot more sharing of the challenges

but it's increasingly more, 'my kids are so precious,' which is not really the vibe i find practical or reaffirming of my own situation 🤷
