Haha the thing is, parents can go from Sound of Music to Ben in a matter of 10 minutes I hear the negative narrative on having children so often that I usually try and surface the positives to balance it out. Both are authentic aspects of the experience and thus worth sharing, but tough conveying the full duality

Being a parent requires a lot of coping π Also a pet theory that smaller family sizes and less extended family, villages, etc mean people are genuinely surprised by how fulfilling it can be.
