Some books that I thought were far better than their corresponding movie/TV versions (mainly due to the fidelity & depth of detail that a well written read delivers): - The Count of Monte Cristo - Three Body Problem - All of the LOTR books - All of the Harry Potter books - The DaVinci Code - Enders Game (List goes on..) Select instances where the movie versions actually did justice or brought a new element to the table vs their book counterpart: - Fight Club - American Psycho - Shawshank Redemotion

Please join me in giving a warm /books welcome to @dylanoa4 Dylan is a force of nature on Twitter (seriously, go check him out) and I'm excited to have him in our corner of the internet. His bibliography is one of the best curated book collections I've come across: https://www.essayful.co/p/1-the-bibliography-of-a-writing-life-42b

Borges is not a great reading for beginners and even a lot of experienced readers had difficulty with him. I never read it, but I remember my grandma complaining about how boring it was ๐Ÿ˜‚

Classic literature should be given to the young generation. It's not hard, actually, a lot of classics are pretty easy. What actually is happening is that young people interested in reading are only reaching the "best-sellers" bobble that is actually filled with sub-literature.

Why all the novels read by most woman are always some type of teenage drama or an affair with a coworker, like, what are women seeking these days?!!
