There’s really nothing better than a good book

While movies are great, and tv shows as well, there is a level of fidelity that I can get from books that I just don’t feel like I get from books. It’s also where I am at the moment - just really enjoy books

Also I’ve been enjoying fiction a lot more lately, and getting so much from it. Great stories are really hard to beat. Also as I get older maybe I’m just less inclined to spend time reading things I don’t enjoy

Some books that I thought were far better than their corresponding movie/TV versions (mainly due to the fidelity & depth of detail that a well written read delivers):

- The Count of Monte Cristo
- Three Body Problem
- All of the LOTR books
- All of the Harry Potter books
- The DaVinci Code
- Enders Game
(List goes on..)

Select instances where the movie versions actually did justice or brought a new element to the table vs their book counterpart:

- Fight Club
- American Psycho
- Shawshank Redemotion
