yeahh everyone gets tested but the science of dopers always seems to be a few steps ahead of the science of anti doping 😭

they come up with different ways to mask it or dodge tests and stuff

i thought they’d normally check before any event

i know right :( she was an amazing jumper and brought alot of joy to ukraine too

true! i find it so sad

especially when i have missed out on the olympics by ONE place so when i find out  another athlete doped it breaks my heart a little bit more

the dopers are always a few steps ahead of the anti doping science hopefully the technology gets better

the third you know of.. PEDs are widespread in competitive sport. I know plenty who competed on an international level that took PEDs and never were tested positive.

hmm the only way they can prove she doped back in 22/23 is if they retest her samples

so for now she will just be suspended then if they find she did in those years 
theyll disqualify medals and performances 

and the other athletes get posted the correct medal or they do a new ceremony for them at another championships

one former athlete i know went from 4th place to olympic gold like 15 years later

what are the rules in a case like this? would they retro-actively revoke her medals ?

yup they test randomly and winning gold means money and they never seem to have to pay it back

why do they take drugs with they know they’re gonna be tested? 🙊🤷🏻‍♀️ or do they test randomly so athletes take the risk?

but it’s not true sport in my opinion its just an experiment

no athlete is allowed to take testosterone and so many substances are completely banned 

here is the list of everything thats banned 



some athletes take supplements but they must be informed sport batch tested to make sure they do not contain banned substances 

so for instance i wouldnt buy a protein powder/drink from the supermarket unless it was informed sport

not every competition they do random tests and then post comp tests sometimes
