If you get manicures regularly, do you enjoy the time spent in the nail salon or does it feel like a chore?

Not getting manicures, but when I go to the hairdressers it's often a bit of bot. Going feels like a chore, but when I go to the one I like best, I actually enjoy the time I spend there.

I normally slot salon time as a pamer myself / go relax time earned after hard hustle so I tend to enjoy my time

I try to make it a self care event, although not always. If I’m getting a pedicure I’ll usually bring a book and get a longer spa pedicure without getting a manicure - actually maybe I’ll do that today……

It depends on who you get doing your nails, and where you’re going. Last time, I got a man who was acting like a bit of an asshole. I was kind of annoyed, and of course my nails didnt last like they should. Other times, it’s enjoyable. It really just depends on circumstance, I think.

HATE mani/pedi day. My nails are perfect as they are and there is no need to bring out the dremel. They do provide good snacks though, so it kind of evens out. 💅🏻
