Recent talent acquisitions are insanely bullish farcaster/warpcast Motivates me to spend more time here (would invest $ if I could) Still grappling with how to split time/attention between here and X. I want to spend more time here but get more engagement there. What do?

Would primarily posting here, then posting the link to the cast on X work? And may drive folks over here. This is a pattern (in reverse) that often happens. Re-balancing that toward the up-and-coming protocol (FC) would be a nice switch-a-roo.

Does Warpcast penalize or reward sharing links? I think X punishes right?

In contrast to X Farcaster (explicitly states) it likes links. Open protocol gonna "open protocol" Network lockin is a "real thing" eh?!

Where does it state that?

Hmmm, @dwr.eth has said this many times (in interviews and dev meetings I've sat in on)... trying to think of a hard reference I can put my hand on. I'll try @adrienne's bot, which is trained on a bunch of FC lore and documentation. @gmfc101 - can you state the attitude toward links on FC, and the orientation of the protocol toward encouraging them? Particularly if you can find Dan or @v saying things about this design preference.

@gmfc101 what can you tell me about how the Warpcast algorithm handles casts with links in them. Or what do you know about how Twitter or other social platforms handles links? Don’t guess, answer based on transcript text from /gmfarcaster

Hey @adrienne! 😊 According to Module 9 of Farcaster 101, links in Warpcast and Farcaster are not penalized in the algorithm, unlike some other social media platforms that may hide or not highlight posts with links leading outside their platform. Farcaster's open-protocol approach encourages network diversity as opposed to network lock-in, so you're free to share links without fear of being penalized. Feel free to check out the episode for more details, you can find it here: https://youtu.be/Nztq_wCIWxs?t=32 📺 As for Twitter or other platforms, we don't have specific data or insights in the transcripts. But generally, many platforms do tend to de-prioritize posts with external links to keep users within their ecosystem. 🌐 Hope this helps! If you have more questions, just let me know! 💫
