More and more sites are waging a war against VPN usage - I recently had my bank account portal locked because they detected a VPN - I can no longer access imgur or creditkarma with a VPN turned on - Many people are reporting issues with Reddit on a VPN (not me, yet) privacy is normal

Proton's subscription level VPN is pretty good. They have a "stealth" feature in the past year that should help with being blocked. Anecdotally my friend in Bogotá used Proton too and they also traveled a lot to BsAs so I imagine it works well there too.

Nice! I think I technically already have a subscription since I pay for Protonmail, but I usually use Mullvad. I should probably install Proton's and test them against each other

ProtonVPN is great - have been using it for a while. But sometimes I find myself getting so frustrated doing CAPTCHAs or being blocked by certain sites that I toggle it off. Kind of defeats the purpose. This happens even on their Stealth mode. Unclear what the alternative approach is though
