Bad sci-fi books (yawn): Hyperion, Foundation, and Three Body Problem 

Good sci-fi books (fun!): Dune, Red Rising, Project Hail Mary

Hyperion was mid. 

Foundation is a grind (I’m 40% through, too early to judge but not looking good). 

Three Body Problem was amazing. 

Dune is goated. 

I’m not familiar with Project Hail Mary, but I’m intrigued now about what part of our venn diagram it will land in

I normally like sci fi books like that despite their high concept shenanigans, but 3BP really stood on the strength of its sci fi heart

i loved 3bp but that guy cant do characters for nuts.
the world building was pretty amazing tho, thoroughly enjoyed the series
