people always used to ask me, "@six, is there a way to earn the best token in the history of the entire lightcone, simply by publishing a piece of writing once a week for four weeks in a row, ideally in october, and it would be dope if it was on a sufficiently decentralized social network?"
i always felt ashamed, i didn't have an answer for these individuals. it was a simple ask, but a solution to their qualms evaded me. like ponce de leon searching for the fountain of youth, i yearned for an answer to this question
now, after years on this quest, @markfishman has found an answer. your time has come, anon-kun. LFW 4 replies

he Pearl of Wisdom
In the underwater kingdom of Corallia, Princess Aria possessed a unique gift – her voice could heal the ocean's wounds.
Aria's mother, the queen, fell ill. The kingdom's wisest mermaid, Oracle Delphi, revealed the queen's cure lay in the legendary Pearl of Wisdom.
Aria embarked on a perilous quest to find the pearl. She encountered a handsome merman, Finn.
Finn joined Aria on her journey, facing sea serpents and treacherous currents.
As they neared the pearl's location, they discovered a hidden underwater city.
The city's guardian, a wise sea dragon, presented Aria with the Pearl of Wisdom.
Aria returned to Corallia, using the pearl's power to heal her mother.
Finn and Aria's love blossomed.
Epilogue:
Aria and Finn ruled Corallia, using the Pearl of Wisdom to maintain harmony.
Their daughter inherited Aria's healing voice. 0 reply

Every Disneyland ride follows the same arc.
It’s all the hero’s journey or three-act structure.
Act 1: Setup (happy, silly introduction)🤪
Act 2: Confrontation (conflict, dark, scary)😱
Act 3: Resolution (happy, overcoming, victorious)😌
It works every time. Why change the formula?
It's like pop music. Nothing wrong that. It works.
Of course, being the type of person I am, I’d like to see an avant-garde version of a story-telling theme park.
I’m imagining rides with slightly more complex forms, like contemporary classical music. I want colors and beautiful sounds that turn into a random stretch that does nothing in a silent, fully lit, gray room for a little too long. I want irony, contradictions, and moments that make you ask big questions. I want brief moments of elation and near-resolution just to keep you interested. I want an abrupt ending that makes you a little upset. A ride that you kind of hate, yet you can't help but get back in line to try understand what just happened to you. 0 reply
