How to give your warpcast wallet a subname (eg. warpcast.myk.eth): Step 1: Use your parent ENS wallet (eg. myk.eth) to create a subname at app(dot)ens(dot)domains Step 2: Assign your subname to your warpcast wallet address Step 3: Use this frame with your warpcast wallet to search for your subname and tap "Set as Primary" (you'll need some L1 ETH in your warpcast wallet for gas) Done! There is no law more existential for crypto projects than § 1960, which makes it a crime to operate an “unlicensed money transmitting business.” § 1960 is front and center in the Tornado Cash case, where a court held in September that Roman Storm could violate the statute even without control over user funds. Today, @atuminelli, @jchervinsky, and I published the most detailed analysis I’m aware of on how to interpret the statute in The International Academy of Financial Crime Litigators. Our core finding: § 1960 requires control, so the Tornado Cash court got it wrong. Why are Farcaster builders so optimistic when X, Y, and Z bad things exist? My brother, bad is the default. It’s entropy. Failure is the most likely outcome when building something new. If you’re not a definite optimist, you’ve got no chance in making it happen. Even if you’re a rational person, you have to be willing to suspend belief just enough to make the bet despite all the bad. And then it’s just week of week progress and try not to die (mostly figuratively). For years.

I feel like off-chain ZK applications are really undervaluing the potential of just using STARKs, including for privacy-demanding use cases. These days a STARK is < 100 kB, for off-chain use cases that amount of bandwidth is utterly trivial compared to the client-side prover time savings that come from using STARKs.
