What the most disgusting meal you’ve ever had? One time I made a curry with a rotted baked potato. I was kinda broke so I forced myself to eat half of it before projectile vomiting everywhere. Couldn’t eat curry for like ten years after that.

One time when I was a kid my step dad forced me to eat squash and I hate squash so I sat there at the table for 2hours crying until it got really cold and he's just screaming at me to eat it so I take another horrible bite and then threw up all over 😭 😭 😭

Ah man this one time I sought out “authentic” French cuisine in Paris and the chef gave me this gross cold rabbit and fig dish. He was so happy and passionate about it I choked it down. Haven’t been the same since.

Broke as hell in college, put together a meal in my little studio apartment from stuff on hand: -a turkey burger patty with salt and pepper (not bad) -stale and broken Funyuns at the bottom of the bag (not terrible, but decidedly not good) -two big glasses of “chocolate drink” (not to be confused with chocolate milk…I think this thing was just water, corn syrup, and artificial chocolate flavoring…very disgusting, especially with the Funyuns) Truly repulsive pairings there.

The first time I ever tried magic mushrooms, I had the brilliant idea to add them to a Mexican pizza from Taco Bell, because why not mushrooms on pizza. It’s been over 15 years and I haven’t had magic mushrooms or Mexican pizza again.

Oh man I remember when I was a kid, my mum basically forced my brother and I to stay at the table and finish everything. I distinctly remember trying to scoff down some broccoli but I couldn't leave the table to grab any sauce or nothing to add, here's where it gets gross. Only thing on the table was a bottle of lemon juice so I drenched the broccoli in that but that made it even harder to get down 🤣 Eventually spewed it up and mum let me go lmao

oh, a poverty meal? in 3rd grade, my mom used to pack a cheese sandwich, only thing was that cheese...it was like the worst artificial american/cheddar & my palate couldn't take it. there must have been a year's worth of cheese sandwiches that I chucked, before she found out.

Once, I decided to experiment in the kitchen using leftovers. using overripe tomatoes, and a generous sprinkle of cinnamon (I thought it was paprika). The first bite was a confusing mix of flavors, midway through the bowl, I could feel my stomach rumbling what came next wasn’t a fun sight to see😭
