Happens with some wallet apps. Metamask did this a lot. The fix was to uninstall it completely and use @rainbow

There are a few reasons that I know of: 1) The time between a human interaction and the request to deep link exceeds 1s. This will cause iOS to direct to the App Store. 2) You were prompted to open a link in CB and hit cancel (once). Reinstalling the app or clearing all safari data fixes #2.

You need to select wallet connect and than cb wallet or select open in cb from the share menu in safari

which web browser are you using? for example, deep links to the target app don't work great in Brave but are functional in Safari.
