why on god’s green earth am i getting pushed to the ios app store when i try to connect to coinbase wallet

There are a few reasons that I know of: 1) The time between a human interaction and the request to deep link exceeds 1s. This will cause iOS to direct to the App Store. 2) You were prompted to open a link in CB and hit cancel (once). Reinstalling the app or clearing all safari data fixes #2.
