ENS names are going through an interesting phase. 

Original vision was one name everywhere, but L1 got too expensive so people have offchain ENS (farcaster) and L2 ENS (base names, world names). 

The natural progression seems to be towards multiple ENS namespaces - is this a net good thing?

Farcaster Marketplace

Built a prototype that auto-wraps regular websites (starting w/ Amazon) with Farcaster frame tags.

Take any product URL → generate Frame with product image + buy button

Key idea: Enable bots (@aethernet, and others) to serve product recs that render natively in feed as Frames.

Thinking this could bridge web2/web3 commerce + make bot shopping more seamless.

Would love feedback about architecture/security considerations + potential pitfalls?

Unfortunately, there are also words that exist purely to align people without respect for meaning

Increasingly, I feel like “onchain” is in the latter camp

The next step for crypto enabled ai bots is that we each have our own and can communicate with them in private but they still have farcaster accounts to communicate with the world and make use of the crypto developer legos here.

in the early 00’s , @aethernet is exactly what Computer Scientists had in mind when they published about Software agents. A good reminder of how long these things take sometimes.
