accelerating my expatriation accordingly. thankfully most of my family is onboard. wishing for the best, but planning for the worst, now with more haste and more care

i think im mourning the american dream... its been dying in many aspects for a while now but loss of the freedom and safety of even citizenship is the death rattle. as a black person ive never felt fully safe here, but continuing to act as if freedom from rendition is inalienable feels delusional at this point

i was looking up what people are saying about Judge Boasberg’s opinion this morning on the bird app and some threads are an actual alternate reality. they think Boasberg is the one impeachable for insisting on due process. i weep over the end to rule of law.
