How about you open your code editor and build something yourself instead of demanding that a company give you all of the pieces you need?

A complete - server and client - set of reference implementations for an open source protocol is not entitlement, it's standard practice.

Agreed that Dan could be a bit less snippy in some of his replies and I think he’s acknowledged that as well

and those docs are written in that tone. im no shiny developer with a CS degree. im just a self taught mfer that puts things together with duck tape. and they are hostile. closed. there is no openess in them. this is not how you invite curious people in
