Pretty stark contrast between the Ethereum and Solana communities when liquidity dries up. On Ethereum (mainly Base) I see builders continuing to build, launch, iterate, experiment. On Solana it's mostly just silence. I don't believe in chain tribalism but the vibes are definitely different.

Builders were still building when Solana was facing mega apocalypse @ $12. If they had gone quiet and given up then, Solana wouldn't be the most used chain in the world today.

Is that actually the case or are we just slammed with builders build on base casts vs things shipping minus all of the talk on Solana? For example,Franklin templeton launched what appears to be a money market fund today on Solana. Most people seem to think Ethereum is the de facto institutional chain, haven’t seen anything like this on base https://x.com/ftda_us/status/1889675984137326679?s=46

Do you get the sense that Solana peeps are newer to crypto and enamored with the whole speculation thing? Whereas a base builders have been through a cycle or two and see the value of building?

- eth/base is hungry - culture was different from the get go (both pros and cons) manifesting itself differently in different liquidity conditions - extreme exposure to the dynamics on sol takes a toll imo
