Way too much meta discussion lately on views, engagement, reach, boosts, bangers, etc. that takes a lot of the fun out of it, midcurve vibes Some of my favorite moments on here have been deep in some niche reply thread that barely anyone saw besides me and the other people in the discussion

hard agree, so boring and lame. boosts, social capital, "getting engagement", all that stuff is tired, annoying, and unhealthy. just be yourself; have fun.

one thing i did a while ago on instagram is hiding likes. i don’t care how many likes i get or how many you have - that’s not the goal of sharing media (in this case)
