My apartment complex just told me they were locking me in/out of my apartment from 8am - 5pm every day for a month "for construction."

... that can't be legal, can it?

Update: Ok I guess I'm gonna try to find a place and move in 20 days.

I've developed a morbid fascination with this deconstruction process, like jeff goldblum in the fly.

Even moreso, I think we have a kiddo in the same age range! first time moving as a parent for me and it is intimidating. 😅
