One of my “ah-ha” moments in crypto was the first time I used metamask. It was a magical feeling, because all of a sudden everything just sorta clicked and made sense to me.

I was like.. oh wow, I’m actually doing stuff MYSELF. This is MY money, in MY wallet.

Prior to that all my transactions had been on CEXes.

Yes, 100%. I remember feeling that way when I first used MEW. And then MetaMask made it so much easier.

it's such a different experience, and well worth it without a doubt.  so happy to see @base pushing the onchain narrative forward.

I had a similar moment when i first used rabby and was like “wow this can be so nice and easy” 🤣

and then being able to take out a loan on AAVE - all by yourself.
