One of my “ah-ha” moments in crypto was the first time I used metamask. It was a magical feeling, because all of a sudden everything just sorta clicked and made sense to me.

I was like.. oh wow, I’m actually doing stuff MYSELF. This is MY money, in MY wallet.

Prior to that all my transactions had been on CEXes.

For me it was a mix of that, and dread that I might fck something up and lose all my crypto lol
