If they ask me to connect my wallet just to view content I will never visit that app again in my life I only connect if I absolutely need to complete a task (e.g uniswap)

btw can you lose your money just by connecting wallet? I thought you need to sign some transaction or give access to your funds? 🤔

I don’t hesitate to connect my wallet, partly because connecting is harmless and partly because I have tools (Stelo) to keep me safe in case the dapp tries to initiate a malicious request

I am on the camp of if I am already hesitant, nothing an app can do can change that. This is not due to specifics of an app but more about bad stories we keep hearing.

Nervous when the site is sketchy and looks like it's just trying to harvest my IP address. I open all sites that need "connect wallet" in a new incognito window.

I think connecting wallet is okay but its signing stuff that I try to be more careful. Also I should already be able to see whatever the App is doing rather than just blindly connecting
