GA Have you reconditioned yourself from a somewhat negative mindset to a positive one? If so, how did you do it?

Sometimes it is just shifting mindsets in the moment but I am thinking about a multi-year journey to tilt myself more positive. I write down good outcomes from conversations to train myself to notice the positive. I talk to positive people. And I embrace the beautiful and curious side of YOLO (not the reckless side).

Approach emotions with curiosity, not criticism. Explore what’s underneath the emotions (ideally with a coach). Talk through the new patterns you want to create. Think big but start small. And give it time :)

'Mindset' by Carol Dweck helped me I think. Super simple framework about growth vs fixed mindsets.

so many things! cutting out negative people helps a lot though. then much inner work, inspired by a vision of where you’d really like to be in life, and who you’d have to be to experience that

I’m convinced that having a daily practice of journaling before bed 5 things I’m grateful for that day + 1 affirmation helped me keep a positive mindset when my health tanked and doctors had no answers
