Everytime I get excited about NFTs (as they exist currently) I come back to the blackpill that the only thing that is onchain is the metadata and most of the actual NFT content is just hosted on S3 buckets Can someone un-blackpill me? I still think the underlying tech is cool fwiw

IPFS is as censorship resistant as you want to make it. It's up to you as the individual to put in the effort though. Can't speak to Arweave.

Agreed. And if you look at NFTs as media storage, then yeah, not that exciting. But as the infrastructure for tradable assets and digital products, that's the big unlock.
