A New Year! I overindulged in great food and I am ok with it. I gained 5 lbs and a waist measurement went up a smidge, but it’s ok. For me, it’s not losing weight that’s hard but keeping it off and being consistent. However I’ve been able to maintain at minimum and slowly shed weight for the past 3 years. One of my main focus that I’m building up on is strength training (core and back) along with hip and leg mobility. I’ve started seeing a chiropractor which has helped tremendously, but would like to prevent achy and weak muscles. Feeling good. Health is wealth and Family over Everything!

I go through my own insanity as well. Writing helps with my intrapersonal communication, which in turn helps with my interpersonal communication. I've been having major mental blocks which affect everything I do (mood and habits). I basically sat myself down the start of the new year, no distractions and wrote in a journal (long form). For me it's the toughest thing because I admittedly welcome distractions (twitter/reddit) that allow me to just doom scroll and nothing get's resolved for me. Just making myself write down thoughts in longer form actually helps me set action items and hit my immediate goals. It actually helps me deal with thoughts that I dread and try to avoid. Also helps me with my work/projects. I'm very backed up, but it's keeping me honest and productive.
