Slow and steady wins the race. Down over 20 lbs, making new lifting PRs, no daily medications, and most importantly, feeling really good about all the work I've done this past year to get here. It was hard, but worth it. Next week I'll have a physical and see if the cholesterol is down. Either way I'm proud

Been a minute since I came on here. I've been thinking a lot about the future and how fed up I am with the vast amount of people who are just complaining and doing nothing. It's all rage sharing and inaction. When you aren't really thinking with the herd, it's lonely, even when you're right.

Truthfully it’s been a rough few weeks. There’s been a lot of good stuff, don’t get me wrong, but I’m finding it harder and harder to see and appreciate that. Going to workout, get some steps, and hope I can clear my head.

Life update: Jan came and went and tbh despite all the madness in my little corner of the world things were good. Stuff happened I'm proud of. I continue to lose weight and improve my fitness. I keep writing out my 10 tasks in my planner and holding myself to them. I'm chipping away at shit that feels hard.

I think it's pretty obvious I did not vote for Trump. My reasons were due to his policies on climate change, diversity/trans/civil rights, reproductive rights, and overwhelmingly because of Jan 6 which I felt was deeply troubling and a dark day for every proud American. That said, we're here.

Been away from home for almost a week now and despite eating out the past 3 nights in a row, stayed on track with my calories. Def would have kept myself under if I'd been making my own food but still feel good about how this has gone. Got all my workouts and steps in too.

Really proud that I've managed to get my 2/3 weight workouts for the week done yesterday and today, just in case the week gets busy. Also did a ton of walking and worked in some jogging time despite being on "vacation"-ish. I actually think the change of scenery has been motivating and really good for me

Today I'm heading to live/hang in the south for 2.5 weeks. Originally the plan was to escape the cold but seeing as how Atlanta just had a snowstorm I'm not sure if we'll escape much of anything. For some reason no matter how much I fly, travel anxiety always hits me. Once I'm on the plane I'm fine, it's the lead up

When you're a short girl, losing weight is seriously painful. Lately I'm losing a half pound a week, which I will take, but holy crap this is slow af. That said, started seriously in May 2024, then had surgery and was laid out, and I'm down 14 lbs overall. Really proud of my slow and steady consistency.

Did my arms and abs program and then went for a run. Managed to do my first mile without stopping post foot surgery 🥲 ended up being a great day

I'm realizing the hardest thing is starting sometimes. Today, my tasks were just something I didn't want to tackle. I set an alarm for 5 minutes and told myself to focus and write. 5 minutes. That's it. That led to 10, which lead to 15. Feel good about that. Same thing with the gym. Once I was there, success.

Was feeling super tired and a bit down today, so getting to the gym was a feat in and of itself but now that I’m here it’s really making a positive difference. Let this be your reminder to move your body today. No excuses 💪🏼

Really feeling that life is what you make it lately. Something about having a job and being part of a corporate environment gave me structure and something to strive for - promotion, more money, etc. When you don't have those responsibilities it's up to you to grow. You decide not to show up? It's a day of your life.

This week is my last week at home for a bit. My fiancé is on garden leave bc finance loves their noncompetes, so we're taking as many trips as we can. Normally this would be super fun but I kind of think crypto may go wild and I don't want to carry around my cold storage and I also don't want to have that much on an exchange. Today I gotta figure out my plan

Made my phone greyscale. I can’t believe how much taking away the color has me wanting to use it less. Starting the new year strong despite having a bad headache since 2025 started. Hoping today it finally resolves 🤞but despite that stayed on track with nutrition and workouts

In 2023 I felt really stuck. I’d been doing the same kind of content in my career and I was on the road to recovery after a mental breakdown but still struggling. Here’s what helped me stay positive and make progress when I could have just sailed off my crypto winnings 👇
