I think Arthur Hayes made some good suggestions for how to go about getting the legislation we want... levarging the usual incentivzes politicans have to get re-elected in cryptos favor. 

He suggests advocating for the legislation of one policy protecting blockchains as speech - it's an interesting read, plus potentially a more "productive" approach than hoping that one politican will keep their word ^^

imo I think too many people think the government is against crypto because of freedom and privacy, making the pushback ineffective because it’s about the wrong thing. 

It has always been about protecting the dollar-based economy. This obviously also touches on AML and money movement rules of course. 

I really think it’s as simple as that and the rest is extrapolation.

Not necessarily should you try to find why.. he is just a crypto person, not a politician.. well, to be honest a very weak politic for that matter..
