imo I think too many people think the government is against crypto because of freedom and privacy, making the pushback ineffective because it’s about the wrong thing. It has always been about protecting the dollar-based economy. This obviously also touches on AML and money movement rules of course. I really think it’s as simple as that and the rest is extrapolation.
