A turtle asked a snake to give its word to the turtle that it would protect its unhatched eggs while it went to get a bite to eat. Technocapitalism is to Western Civilization (Western Capitalism) what New Keynesian Economics is to Classical Keynesianism. There are some subtle differences but the similarities in barbaric negligence-to the human condition, the sciences and environmentalism (all correlated) makes it hard to differentiate between the two.
