dutch auction price decline for basenames was way too fast imo. builders be building. by the time many of us saw the announcement on twitter, many of our names were already squatted T_T

not surprising tbh, I think dot base dot eth is more for next wave of adopters coming onchain and not wanting to fork $100 for ENS. E.g. perfect for new BasePaint artists
