Most people default to sitting for almost everything they do — work, meals, TV, etc. I like defaulting to walking for as many activities as I can. Especially calls. But also podcasts, dictations, meetings, etc. You can default to walking more too. Here is what that looks like:

jeeez i thought my 10k steps a day was hard to hit...might have to up that. For me, I genuinely just forget to walk more. Maybe I'll start setting reminders to get off my ass

Pairing it with things you already do more or less daily may be better than reminders. It's like an activity-based reminder instead of time-based. About to listen to a podcast? Go for a walk. Friend calling? Take it for a walk. Coffee meeting? Let's grab our drinks and go for a walk. Etc.
