you can't separate your account on each server, so one identity is shared across all, they have no strategy for monetization in a way that incentivizes guild admins to make it worthwhile (revshare?), the list goes on. It's why one of my side projects is a decentralized discord.

They have multi-account mode available.

And they do have multi-server profiles in the nitro subscription.
Where I can create separate profile catered to a given server.

Matrix has laughably bad encryption. The recent security alert demos how much of a clown show it is. It’s also not decentralized. It is federated, but they are a long shot away from p2p. As for revshare, why not? Twitch is making creators a killing.
