THE most insane place on the planet for people in hw and electronics. you can almost find anything, here, all at once. they not only have electronic parts supply, but they also have: - wholesale bulk buying - ICs - freight forwarding cos - repair shops https://x.com/jrurbanenetwork/status/1772649376264949996

i am always a skeptic about india competing with china in semiconductor. but optimistic about us having a foot in the door in the semiconductor world stage.

duh. @blrxzo team have setup a residential hardware hackathon in Bangalore. ~14 fellows will hack on hardware projects for 7 straight days. finish mini quests in the process of completing the prototype. in-house mentors to guide you through, when required. workshops/talks from hardware co. founders, meet & greet.

i have picked up on tl-verilog after watching @splinedrive (from twitter) build his risc-v cpu on an FPGA and boot linux on it. starting with basic circuits like a full adder. i also managed to build a: - calculator (add, sub, prod, div) - fibonacci sequence calculator using flip-flops

it’s great that to be on farcaster, you don’t necessarily have to talk about crypto all the time. still searching for the hardware/manufacturing/space/defense tribe here. created a hardware channel, you can search it and join!

@v and @dwr.eth can’t the warpcast client include the user’s fcid in the first get call it does for a given frame when the cast is rendered? this allows the server side to get the user id they are loading the frame for and show the updated state immediately.

testing kde plasma desktop environment on raspberry pi. to enable any desktop environment in any linux based os or derivates, you need to: - add an x11 based display server which deals with input (keyboard, mouse, etc) and display peripherals - add display manager to deal with login screens and start sessions

Helium is a network of decentralised radio networks And HIP-51 provides a framework to enable this via a subDAO structure, they outlined. [1] Atm, Helium has Helium Mobile (5g/wifi/LTE) [2] and Helium IoT (LoRaWAN) [3]

Testing Hard fork, 1.2..3… Research Log (25th October) —— . @helium, a decentralised network provider, has something called as Data Credits, spent by a device in the network to transfer data. Helium has 2 types of networks: - IoT (LoRaWAN radio protocol) - Mobile (Cellular Network technology)

This is a big milestone for Farcaster, the protocol, the team building the protocol, and the users of the protocol. This is a faster way to force innovation on social networks given the protocol is open. Looking forward to how Clients evolve here, and their biz models, features, new behaviours on the network, etc.

Here’s a product idea to be built on Farcaster: Pair 2 people every week to exhaust the network and kill 6 degrees of separation. - List of users is public - Maintain a record of people who have paired so far (private/public) - They can connect over text or meet - Record if they met/chatted

Hey @vitalik.eth, wanted to hear your thoughts on PQC for Ethereum. Assumption is that with LK-99 viable superconducting qc is possible. What are the alternative pubkey crypto systems that will be explored? What challenges will be faced during the migration of the pubkey crypto system?

nonce is an EVM based transaction is used to prevent replay attacks. but can i send 3 different transactions at once from the same address, but all have different nonce values? think that nonce is being kept track of offchain.
