testing kde plasma desktop environment on raspberry pi. to enable any desktop environment in any linux based os or derivates, you need to: - add an x11 based display server which deals with input (keyboard, mouse, etc) and display peripherals - add display manager to deal with login screens and start sessions

- a desktop environment like kde, gnome, etc. which has file manager, system settings, and other guis and apps together these components work and enable desktop environment and best part is you can hot swap each of the components with it’s alternatives.
