interesting new feature to help new and onboarding casters, but I’m not interested in following, and I’ve had too many individualized notifications about this one particular account. 

that said, I do want to keep seeing these, but for new faces

You can turn them off. The someone casted for the first time in a while notification bothered me so I tapped the dot dot dot and hit show less. now I don't get them

I don’t want it off. I want to move on to new people. I’m just tired of notifications about the same caster over and over. 

I’m thankful it can be turned off. But I want this for future new casters

This is useful feedback, it's best if the same suggestion does not show up over and over... especially if there are no other suggestions showing... Pinging @woj.eth to pass on your feedback to the people developing this feature.

we hear the feedback on the trending follow recommendation and we will adjust

- even if the notification triggers for multiple days (with a total new set of new followers) you will not get recommended about the same account twice

you are also free to mute the notification in the settings!
