I kinda agree with this… if writing is really hard, I usually need to outline. For me, going slow, or not knowing what to write, is a symptom of being unprepared. Review, research, relive the original inspiration, these methods help me get unblocked.

Story telling is really system design. You define interfaces and territories. You create colour pallets and bring perspective into historical context. If anyone wants to bounce ideas around for this kind of strategic execution hit me up. Writing is not typing words. It's world building.

Agree. Doing it myself. The point is that if writing is your job, you can't just say "Oh I have a writers block today" and do squad. You need to have tools to overcome the writer's block. Write 10 pages of garbage to flush your system and get to the good stuff. Record yourself while walking. DO aka write something
