Another vote for Tailscale for you :) You'll have plenty of time researching alternative options later )

Yep. Keyboard and the screen is pretty good. It's surprisingly heavy though.

it’s doable 1-2 times with coffee and stuff ofc, but that’s not sustainable unless the bedtime doesn’t shift as well—and it doesn’t

how does one learn to routinely get up before the sunrise? trying for about a month already. anytime in daylight (eg. 5am in the summer) is easy, but waking up while it’s still dark seems next to impossible :/

A stunning example of how efficient market and arbitrage trades enabled by mobile phones help to avoid waste, stabilize prices and increase welfare (Fish markets in Kerala, India, 1997-2001) https://www.jstor.org/stable/25098864

Welcome to the dark side of the cyberpunk. Once-theoretical timing attacks are now a reality. (TLDR: Cops still can't decrypt the messages, but they can track who's chatting with whom comparing the small spikes of traffic as the message gets delivered) https://wz.ax/timing-is-real

I thought the AI x-risk is bullshit as robot growth will always be limited by power consumption and speed of real-world interactions. But it seems even pure virtual models are already collapsing as they consume too much of synthetic output during training. Processed foods 2.0!

I love to see the continued adoption of L2s, especially open-source ecosystems like the OP stack However, until we solve the UX of bridging we’re not going to see the significant adoption needed to drive the next wave I refuse to hold 42 different types of ETH and the cognitive overhead that comes with it

my take: both Vision Pro is great and cinemas are becoming better and better as experience providers so far; they don’t really compete at all imho. aaand last time I’ve seen smelly seats was like 10 years ago 🤷🏼 esp after covid they’re really doubled down on ventilation and cleaning

intense air defense fire at night reduces worries a lot but it definitely does not help with sleep as it's LOUD. sigh.

Finished The First and Last Freedom by J. Krishnamurti. Took me some years and over 10 attempts to finish it. Will read again after a while. Shall you read it? Yes. Why? That would be a spoiler. Skip the foreword. It praises the book, still it would plant prejudice in you, as any other summary would.

But they thought it's "Just A Feature" without considering the values and the promises made to their existing customers, and rushed to release. Lesson learned, I guess.

It's ironic how the entire Ledger shitshow could be avoided from their side if they chose to release the seed recovery together with a NEW device and a NEW set of promises. Even if the firmware was the same and the devices would differ only in packaging and some default settings.
