We live in my grandmother's house. My mom divorced my dad when I was 10 years old. Dad left, leaving us the house. Grandmother lived in another house and this house, in which she lived, she bequeathed to my father, and in which we live, to me. My mom brought my stepfather into the house a year later, my sister and brother were born. At my 18th birthday, I inherited the house, the house is registered to me. It was agreed that while I am studying, my mom lives in the house and pays for lights, gas, etc. I get a job, they move out of the house. My stepdad hasn't been working for the last few years and sometimes drinks. I graduated, got a job, came to my mom. She began to beg them not to evict them, they have nowhere to go, the debt has accumulated, stepfather still does not work.... #life #history #interesting

While everyone is sharing their lovely Christmas trees and treats, I bring a dish that might not be photogenic, but definitely puts me in the festive mood. This is satsivi, a Georgian dish that in its appearance and composition is similar to the infamous mole - also chicken drowning in sauce, but here the sauce is made from walnuts and a blend of Georgian spices, most prominently fenugreek and coriander. When I was a kid my mom used to always make satsivi to celebrate New Year, it was the one treat she anticipated the most. And I didn't get the appeal, I thought it was kind of gross and boring. But then a couple years ago something clicked in my brain and I also started craving the taste of satsivi (maybe it's genetic) 😅 So I couldn't wait till New Year and made a batch just for myself. Damn, is it good 🤤 Do you have a similar story with any holiday foods?

Once decided before New Year's Eve to give a classmate a box of chocolates in honor of the holiday and she knew I was cute (not the box, but the girl). Presented. After the winter vacation it turned out the following - the voice of a classmate on the phone masterfully portrayed her friend, asking whether I will give something for the new year or not, and the classmate was with her, it was their cunning plan. I guess that was the first time I learned what a scam was by example. But I had already planned to make a gift before the phone call and after their story I realized that the logic of the weaker sex is very strange. After this strange incident, my sympathy for my classmate went to zero. #life #history #interesting
